Terms of Service

Effective date: 9 June 2026 · Last updated: 9 June 2026

These are the terms you agree to when you use Mailicity. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.

1. Who we are

Mailicity is a product of Syriant Pty Ltd (ABN 52 881 624 363), a company registered in Queensland, Australia (“Mailicity”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using Mailicity, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What Mailicity is

Mailicity connects to an existing email account and presents a calm, curated inbox to the person you look after, while you — the account holder — manage who is allowed to reach them. It does not replace their email address or move their email to us; it works on top of their existing mailbox.

3. Early access

Mailicity is in early access. That means it is still being built, features may change or be removed, and there may be interruptions or bugs. We may also limit who can sign up. During early access the service is provided free of charge; we will give account holders reasonable notice before any paid pricing begins, and you can choose to stop using the service rather than pay.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the accounts you create and for keeping your login details secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has gained access. You must be at least 18 years old to set up and manage a Mailicity account.

5. Acting for the person you look after

Mailicity is set up by one person on behalf of another adult. When you connect someone's mailbox, you confirm that you are entitled to do so — for example because you are helping a family member with their agreement, or because you act for them under a power of attorney, guardianship, or similar arrangement. Mailicity is meant for looking after someone, not for monitoring an adult without a proper basis to act for them. Our Privacy Policy says more about this.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mailicity to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else do so;
  • access an email account you are not entitled to access;
  • send spam, malware, or harmful or deceptive content;
  • interfere with, probe, or try to break the security of the service or the systems it runs on; or
  • misuse the service to harass, surveil, or harm another person.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. Your content and the email we handle

The email and contact details that flow through Mailicity belong to the people they concern, not to us. We only handle them to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't sell that information, show ads against it, or use it to train models.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Mailicity running, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free, particularly during early access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and we'll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, Mailicity is provided “as is” during early access, without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Mailicity and close your account at any time. When you close an account we delete the personal information we hold as set out in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we stop offering the service.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and, where the change is significant, let account holders know. Continuing to use Mailicity after a change means the updated terms apply.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If you have a question about them, contact us at support@mailicity.com.
